Cone Crusher Parts Maintenance Guide
— Professional Reference for Maintenance Engineers
🔧 1. Key Components & Maintenance Focus
A. Liners (Mantle & Concave)
- Material: Standard Mn18Cr2 / Mn22Cr2
- Replacement Signal: When discharge size increases ≥15% or production drops ≥20%
- Installation Note:
- Ensure zinc alloy backing fills completely (no voids)
- Tighten U-bolts to 450-500 N·m torque (re-check after 24h operation)
B. Eccentric Assembly
- Bushing Clearance:
- Eccentric bushing ↔ Main shaft: 1.2-1.5 mm
- Eccentric bushing ↔ Frame bushing: 0.8-1.2 mm
- Lubrication: Use ISO VG320 specialty crusher oil only
C. Hydraulic System
- Adjustment Pressure: 4.5-5.0 MPa (discharge setting)
- Relief Valve Setting: 7.0 MPa (tramp iron release)
- Weekly Check: Accumulator nitrogen pressure (must be ≥3.5 MPa)
⚠️ 2. Common Faults & Solutions
| Symptom |
Possible Cause |
Solution |
| High vibration |
- Uneven feed |
|
- Worn spherical bearing
- Loose foundation bolts | 1. Check feed distribution
- Measure bearing wear (replace if >3mm)
- Torque bolts to 800 N·m |
| Oil temperature >60°C | - Clogged cooler
- Failed oil pump
- Bearing damage | 1. Clean cooler fins
- Check pump pressure (≥0.15 MPa)
- Inspect bearings for scoring |
| Reduced production | - Liner wear
- Incorrect speed
- Power transmission loss | 1. Measure liner thickness
- Verify motor RPM (950±10 RPM)
- Check belt tension |
